Dwight McCann has been a photographer for over 40 years beginning shortly after his Air Force service during the Vietnam era, doing photojournalism and portraiture on both coasts of the United States. In 2005, after several years of shooting Live Entertainment locally, he was hired by the Chumash Casino Resort as the "House Photographer" for the Entertainment Department where he has photographed hundreds of concerts by world class artists as well as boxing and other events. Dwight uses state-of-the-art Canon digital SLR camera bodies and lenses, studio and location lighting plus all of the current Adobe image processing software and various plug-in suites.
Having recently retired from UCSB after over 36 years, Dwight has begun exploring new genres in photography: High School Seniors, Commercial/Product, Landscape, Architecture, Families, Children, Maternity including some of the "Hot" new processing options such as "HDR" and large panoramic prints. A particular strength of Dwight's business is putting together photo-shoots that bring together multiple models/clients, support staff, lighting and design. |
